Midland Police Get Money For Body Armor

Midland Police are getting more than $40,000 in grant money from the federal government.
Senator John Cornyn announced the grant Wednesday. The department, which applied for the grant, will receive the funding through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Program.
Midland Police plan on using the money to purchase number of items, including night vision gear and body armor.
