A local organization is gearing up to celebrate a group of over 700 senior volunteers. Midland's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will be hosting their Annual Burger Bash Thursday night.

RSVP volunteers have been helping Midland for over 15 years. They currently serve roughly 85 local organizations, ranging from local schools and libraries to hospitals and non-profits. To recognize what these men and women do to help the community, RSVP hosts several events for the volunteers throughout the year, including the Burger Bash.

The event kicks off at Thursday evening at 5:30 inside the Midland Center. Guests will enjoy some great food, a little dancing and a lot of fun. Since the celebration's theme is western, guests are encouraged to wear boots and "West Texas" attire.
