Three local organizations came together Thursday evening to honor a group of over 900 senior volunteers. Midland's RSVP teamed up with Foster Grandparents and Senior companions for the 12th Annual Burger Bash. It's held each year to recognize these men and women who give their time to help the community, and ask for nothing in return.

"They do so much volunteer work in the community, working with children, other seniors, and so many non-profits that they serve. And, it's just our way of saying thank you for their hard work," says Saul Herrera, RSVP Director.

RSVP volunteers currently serve over 85 local organizations and non-profits including local schools, libraries, hospitals, city offices and more.
