ODESSA -- An ECISD school sheltered-in-place for about ten minutes Tuesday morning.

Students at Austin Montessori were brought inside after someone heard what sounded like gunshots in a nearby neighborhood.

The doors were locked and monitored during that time, but school went on as usual.

No source for the shots was found, and the doors were reopened a short time later.
