NTSB Releases Details On Alpine Crash

The National Transportation Safety Board has released new information about a plane crash in Brewster County that killed five people earlier in 2010.
The board says that a flexible hose and two clamps weren't installed correctly. About a month after these items were installed, the Piper Saratoga Air Ambulance crashed into a fence shortly after taking off from the Alpine Municipal Airport. There was only one survivor, but he said there were no reports of engine problems.
Two nurses, a Midland couple, and a co-pilot from Beaumont all died in that crash.
