Participating in the Marfa Lights Festival has become a
tradition for some families.
“We’ve been doing it [cooking and selling food at the
festival] for 5 years. It gives us something to do. It brings the family back
home together and everything,” said Tony Verzosa, whose family likes to cook
for event-goers at the Marfa Lights Festival.
But the best part of all:
[Seeing] the Marfa lights viewing area,” said Arlene
Acosta, who was at the festival with her friends and family.
