In July, Kimberly Turner and her daughters were one of the
lucky families to get a Habitat home.
"I feel entirely blessed," said Turner. “I lived
between two drug dealers.”
The Turners were also living in deplorable conditions.
"We had mice and we had a two bedroom with five girls,
one bathroom, very small that you couldn't even get to the sink without
shutting the door," said Turner.
A home Habitat volunteers build costs about 52,000. So all
the money they raise can go a long way.
"It really is a chance to
change somebody’s life,” said Ludrick.
