A man is in trouble after his pickup crashed into a police car in Midland.
This accident happened early Monday morning, at the corner of Texas and Main in downtown Midland.
The police officer was heading down Main Street in a new police cruiser around 6:30 AM when a Chevy Silverado on Texas ran a red light and t-boned the car. The officer, whose name was not released, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
Police say Roberto Marquez, 26, was driving the Silverado. He was ticketed for running a red light.
No one else was involved in that crash.
