If your child doesn't have a pediatrician, you probably know it can be next to impossible to get in to see a doctor. That's exactly why an Odessa woman has decided to try and help.
Nurse practitioner Tamara Bavousett worked as the Director of MCH's Ronald McDonald Care Mobilefor years. After seeing how many local children weren't receiving the medical attention they need, she decided to open up Compass Pediatrics to help solve that growing problem.
"I opened this to better serve our community because, right now, there's a shortage of people that are taking new patients," Bavousett told Big 2. "I saw the need in the community and I knew I needed to step up and do something."
Compass is currently accepting newborn through 21-year-old patients. To schedule an appointment, call 432-332-2080.
