The two deputies that were shot last weekend are still recovering as of Thursday afternoon.
Sergeant Steve McNeill and Ector County Deputy Ricky Tijerina are healing at home with their families. The Sheriff's Department says that they want to thank everyone who has sent them messages of support as they recover.
Police say both men were shot by Victor White, which led to a 22-hour standoff outside White's home in West Odessa. That standoff is now being investigated by the Texas Rangers.
