Earlier this year, E-Z Rider announced they were having serious budget problems. Now, the public transit service is cutting hours to cut costs.
Starting on October 4th, the buses will run for just 12 hours Monday through Friday, from 6:15 AM to 6:15 PM .They will also run from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM on Saturdays.
This means one hour is being cut from every weekday and four hours on Saturday. E-Z Rider says the hours cut are their slowest hours, and shouldn't affect people who depend on them. They also hope to expand service again in the future, as they get out of their budget crisis.
