A high profile trial that's been delayed for years is being moved out of the Permian Basin.
John Paul Hernandez, the former principal at the West Texas State School in Pyote, will now be tried in Lubbock.
He's facing two counts of sexual assault, and nine counts of improper relationship between an educator and a student after being accused of molesting underage inmates.
The alleged crimes happened in 2005, but no charges were filed until 2007. Then there's been more delays. The trial will be moved to Lubbock in February, and could last about two weeks.
Another suspect in the case, former assistant superintendent Ray Edward Brookins, was convicted earlier this year and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
