First United Methodist Church in Odessa had a lot to celebrate today.
The church held a ribbon-cutting for the grand opening of their new Children's Center. The new center offers a safe and caring learning experience for Odessa parents and their children, five days a week.
"We're treating it as [a] ministry, not only as a child center," Children's Ministry spokesperson Cindy Lewis told Big 2. "So it's real important for us to build relationships with our families and things like that. We love that. It's our favorite part."
The program currently serves over 70 children, but space is still available. They accept children up to 5 years old. If your interested in learning more about the center, call First United Methodist Church at 432-337-1527.
