The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has ruled on four different oil field fatalities that took earlier this year.
The organization is looking at fining Robinson Drilling $17,000 for two incidents, and Patterson-UTI more than $9,000.
William Ryan Locke died April 1st on a rig in Midland County, after he fell and was impaled on debris. OSHA says the employees didn't get enough training.
Wade Monroe Bennett was killed in May in Upton County when he disconnected his fall protection and fell more than ninety feet. Another man was killed on May 5th, and Patterson is being fined for that death as well.
Triple S Oilfield and Construction has not been cited for a March death where Leonel Rodriguez was laying tile and was electrocuted during a crane malfunction. He touched wires with his bare hands.
