ODESSA -- An Odessa man is getting national recognition for his expertise in little league baseball.
After 22 years of coaching and doing administration work for the Basin's local little league program, the Little League International Headquarters has asked Larry Brown to serve on their advisory board. That's an honor that only five people across the world get.
"It was a shock and an honor also," Brown told Big 2. "And felt very privileged to be considered for it."
Brown will represent the Southwestern Region through 2013. That region covers Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
