ODESSA -- An Odessa teen is facing charges after he crashed his car into another car.
The incident happened on November 2nd on south Dixie in Odessa. Police were about to pull over a Chevy Camaro driven by 17 year old Elvis Ortiz, because he was not wearing a seatbelt. Ortiz suddenly accelerated, lost control of his vehicle and smashed into a Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by 44 year old Trinidad Mermella.
The impact sent the Eclipse into two parked cars, and both drivers to the hospital with injuries. Now, Ortiz faces felony aggravated assault charges and a warrant is out for his arrest.
