MIDLAND -- There is a major traffic change coming to Midland County.
TXDOT has been putting some traffic signals up at F.M. 1788 and TX 191, and that new signal should be going live on Wednesday. This means that people driving down F.M. 1788 will need to stop at red lights instead of always going through the intersection. This has been a very dangerous intersection as traffic has increased, with several fatal accidents.
Drivers should be especially careful at that intersection, as some people may not realize there is now a signal up.
