Midland City Council Approves I-20 Preserve Grant

MIDLAND -- The Midland City Council approved an ordinance involving the Interstate 20 Wildlife Preserve Tuesday.
The council voted to approve accepting a $1,000,000 grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife. The land that is owned by the city will be able to be used for public park and recreational use. The money is meant for a series of handicapped accessibly trails.
The council also voted to approved a resolution which will allow the city manager to lease Christiansen Stadium from Midland College.
