Crossing Guard Hit By Car in Midland

MIDLAND -- A crossing guard was injured after he was hit by a car Tuesday morning.
    The incident happened at the corner of Bluebird and Whitman Drive. Thomas Pike, 60, was crossing the road when he was hit by the the mirror of a Nissan Sentra. The Sentra was making a left turn when it hit Pike. He was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
    The driver of the Sentra - 44 year-old William Miller - was fined for the incident.
