MIDLAND -- A Midland man will be spending a long time behind bars after he was found guilty of burglary and attempted assault.
A Midland County jury found Lorenzo Jennings guilty for a June incident at the Fountains at Waterford Apartments, located on Garfield Drive near Loop 250 in Midland. According to court records, Jennings hit his estranged wife in the mouth outside her apartment. When the victim tried to run to a neighbor's apartment, Jennings attacked the neighbor and then hit his wife in the face twice more.
Jennings also hit the neighbor's son, breaking that teen's orbital bone. Then, Jennings took his wife's purse and car keys and took off.
Jennings was sentenced to 60 years behind bars.
