ODESSA-- The Odessa Y.M.C.A. is one step closer to their goal of getting a new bus.
The Y received a grant which matches every dollar they raise, but with a goal of $67,000 and a deadline of December 1st, time is running out.
"We have purchased a big bus, but we also use three small buses and two small vans to pick up children from 26 elementary schools," Y.M.C.A. daycare worker Angela Collins told Big 2. "So, we are in need of a big bus so we don't have to take some many buses back and forth to the day care."
Anyone who'd like to donate can stop by in person, or visit the Odessa Y.M.C.A.'s website  at www.odessaymca.org.
