Odessa Man Accused in Shooting Now Charged With Murder

ODESSA-- The victim of a shooting from early November has passed away, and now the man accused of pulling the trigger is charged with murder.
    Juan Bejarano-Rodriguez, 49, is currently being held in the Ector County Detention Center without bond. The Monahans man is accused of shooting 58 year-old Gerardo Bustamantes in the face  on November 6th. Bustamantes was transported to Medical Center Hospital for treatment, but was later moved to Hospice House where he died last Friday.
    Bejarano-Rodriguez is charged with murder, unlawful possession of a handgun by a felon and more. A second suspect was interviewed, and later released.
