LEA COUNTY, NM --  A new online tool will now alert Lea county residents when a registered sex offender moves near their home, their work or their child's school.

The new website will allow residents to enter an address, then within seconds, the site will locate registered offenders within a two mile radius.

It'll also show their photograph, their address and previous charges.

It also gives you the option to set up an alert which will show you if a register sex offender moves to a location near your address.

If you'd like to register, just head to leacountysheriff.com
