Leaders Meet To Discuss Going Green In Odessa

ODESSA -- Local and state leaders are coming together to learn how going green can help boost a not only our environment, but also, our economy.
    The Texas Engineering Extension Service is hosting a 2-day conference at the M.C.M. Grande in Odessa. The event started Wednesday and included speakers from across the state with backgrounds in finance, business and government.
    "In West Texas, and in Texas in general, rural communities have the opportunity to take advantage of renewable energy and other practices to diversify their economic base and create jobs," program director Joan Quintana told Big 2.
