Big Spring Man Arrested For Hurting Child

BIG SPRING -- A Big Spring man has been arrested after being accused of hurting a toddler.
    Joseph Contreras was arrested on Friday. Police say he had been watching a two year old child. When the boy's mother returned, the child had a broken left leg and bruises around the face. She took him to Scenic Mountain Medical Center, and a short time later, Contreras was arrested.
    Contreras is being held in the Howard County Detention Center on $200,000 bond.
