ODESSA -- An Odessa man has been arrested, after police say he tried to burn down a mobile home with people sleeping inside.
Deputies say 28 year-old David Earl Reeves was spotted near the home on Stoner Road. A witness also said he heard a smash and then saw him run off.
The fire started inside a pick-up truck parked near the mobile home, and the truck and home were both destroyed. The people in the home managed to get out safely, and they are now being helped by the Red Cross.
Reeves is being held on $50,000 bond.
