Child Found Face Down In Bathtub In Odessa

ODESSA -- A 17-month old child was in critical condition Monday night after she was found face down in the bathtub.
The incident happened around 4:30 PM Monday at a house on Halifax in Odessa. Police say the child's father told authorities that he was bathing the toddler - along with another small child - when he stepped away to assist an elderly family member. When the man returned, the little girl was faced down in the tub.
The investigation is still ongoing.
