HOBBS -- Two Hobbs teens are behind bars for their roles in two armed robberies.

The most recent robbery happened around 1:30 AM Wednesday at the Allsups on North Del Paso Street in Hobbs. The first robbery took place at the Allsups on North Grimes last month.

With the help of a witness, police were able to locate both suspects at a nearby apartment complex Wednesday. Police say both suspects - 19-year-old Shelby Reeves, Jr. and 17-year-old Xavier Silver - admitted to both robberies.

Reeves is now charged with robbery, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Silver is charged with robbery, conspiracy and tampering with evidence.
