Sex Offender Gets Life In Prison

ODESSA -- A convicted sex offender could spend the rest of his life locked up.

    It took only 30 minutes for a jury to find Robert Rubalcado guilty on 20 counts, including indecency with a child, aggravated sexual assault, and more.

    Rubalcado repeatedly sexually abused a girl starting when she was 11, and continued abusing her for several more years. The jury asked for the maximum sentence on all counts, and Rubalcado received seven life sentences.

    Rubalcado will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
