In most cases, the injuries aren't life threatening. But they can be painful, and put your routine, as well as your resolve to get in shape, on hold.

So before you try and shed unwanted pounds, get some advice. A certified trainer can help you get the best out of your workout and safely for an hourly rate.

Don't forget, all good things take time.

If you do get injured while working out, give yourself sometime and make sure your body has
totally recuperated before returning to the gym.
