Midland 10th On Safest Places List

MIDLAND -- If you feel like Midland is a safe place to live, you aren't the only one.
In fact, the Tall City is winning some national honors for it's security. Farmers Insurance has listed their take on the safest communities in America. Out of 138 small communities with populations under 150,000 people, they ranked Midland 10th. Midland is the only Texas town in the top 20 on the list.
Cities were chosen by looking at a number of factors. These include crime rates, risk of extreme weather, environmental hazards, life expectancy, terrorist threats, and foreclosures and job loss numbers.
