Trash Pickup Schedules Changed In Midland and Odessa For Holidays

MIDLAND/ODESSA -- Trash pickup will be running a different in Midland and Odessa the next two weeks because of the holidays.

    Trash collection is normal until Friday (Christmas Eve) in Midland. In Odessa, it ends at noon on Thursday, then there is no trash collection on that Friday and Saturday (Christmas Day).

    Since there will be a lot of garbage over that weekend, the city asks that you hold on to what you can, and don't overload dumpsters. Also, recycle if you can.

    Things will then return to normal until Friday, December 31st. At that point, pickup ends until Monday, January 3rd.
