ODESSA -- One person was injured after a car crash in Odessa Wednesday night.

The crash happened at Dixie and 42nd before 8 PM Wednesday. Odessa Police say a Mitsubishi was heading west on 42nd when the driver had a seizure. That driver reportedly slumped over, hitting the throttle and sending the vehicle swerving into a parking lot.

Police say the Mitsubishi hit a parked car in the lot. Then, it reportedly smashed into a Chevy Tahoe so hard that the Tahoe was thrown over the parking block and into another parking lot. The Mitsubishi finally came to a stop on top of the parking block.

The driver was taken to Medical Center Hospital. Police say that driver had also been drinking before getting behind the wheel.
