Police Name Third Suspect In Brinson Murder

LUBBOCK -- Lubbock Police have named a third suspect in the murder of a man with ties to Midland.
Police say that 21 year-old Arenn Davis is now a suspect in the Sunday murder of Brian Brinson. Devonte Jones, 18, and a 16 year-old juvenile have already been arrested.
The juvenile allegedly told police that neither him nor Jones pulled the trigger. He said it was a third suspect that killed Brinson during a robbery attempt.
Brinson was a convicted sex offender who moved to Wilson from Midland earlier in the year. He also had ties to a cult in Oregon.
Brinson was found dead in his Mercedes in Lubbock on Sunday.
