ODESSA -- An Ector County working inmate who escaped and was re-captured Thursday is facing some serious charges.

Ignacio Guererro Jr., 18, was charged with escape, which is a 3rd Degree felony. Guererro was initially behind bars for a misdemeanor probation violation charge. Guererro got that probation after he was caught with marijuana.

On Thursday, Guererro took off after picking up supplies from the Ector County Annex as part of a working inmate assignment. Police caught him nearby two hours later.
