MIDLAND -- New Year's Eve is a night known for partying and drinking. But if you do that, the last thing you should do is get behind the wheel of a car.

AAA is offering their annual Tipsy Tow service across the country this year. All you have to do is call 1-800-AAA-HELP, and then a tow service will give you a free one-way ride to you home. Better yet, AAA can also tow your car up to 10 miles.

AAA says on New Year's Day, there are 150 percent more drunk driving crashes then any other day of the holiday season.

The event runs between 6 PM Friday and 6 AM Saturday.
