MIDLAND -- Law enforcement has been busy in the Permian Basin this holiday season.

Department of Public Safety troopers were on patrol across the Permian Basin over Christmas weekend, looking for drunk drivers. And Midland Police tell Big 2 that they arrested five people for D.W.I.'s between December 24th and 26th.

Luckily, drunk drivers didn't cause much damage in the Tall City, though. M.P.D. says there were only three accidents with injuries on Midland roads over the weekend, and those might not be related to drunk drivers.
