SAN ANGELO -- Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs was back in court in San Angelo on Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing.

The 55-year-old F.L.D.S. prophet still doesn't have an attorney. He stayed silent while prosecutors read the charges against him.

The court entered "not guilty" pleas on Jeffs' behalf for sexual assault of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child and bigamy. All those felony charges stem from alleged incidents at the Yearning For Zion ranch near Eldorado. Jeffs was extradited to Texas from Utah to face those charges on November 30th.

Jeffs will have another pre-trial hearing on January 5th, and his trial is set for January 24th.
