MIDLAND -- The Blue Ridge Apartments going up along Loop 250 in Midland have brought a lot of controversy.

Residents who live behind the complex say that the apartments were built in a different direction than the plans said they would be. This means that some of the apartments look down into nearby backyards.Residents showed their frustration at a public hearing in December, saying their property values are diminished and their privacy is being invaded.

Now, the complex developer is considering some changes. The developers are proposing building carports behind the complex and adding in evergreen trees to block the line-of-sight to the backyards.

The Midland City Council will consider the proposed changes on January 11th.
