CRANE -- A church in Crane that was burned by an arsonist last week is seeking donations as they hope to rebuild.

Faith in Christ Church Pastor Ellis Lane tells Big 2 that the church is looking to rebuild the church, which was destroyed in the blaze. But Lane added that they need donations to afford it.

Lane also said that the suspect police arrested for arson -- Steven Cantrell -- sent him a letter apologizing for setting the fire. According to Lane, Cantrell said he was on drugs when he set the blaze, and he tried to put it out, but it was too late at that point.

The church has set up an account at Security State bank in Odessa and Midland. All donations should be made to "Faith In Christ Church".

Meanwhile, the church congregation is meeting at United Methodist Church in Crane. The church's food pantry has also moved to that location.
