MIDLAND -- More information has been released on a new healthy grocery store that's coming to the Permian Basin.

Big 2 first reported last month that Natural Grocers was setting up shop in Midland. They're moving in along Loop 250, taking up more than 10,000 square feet and making some green modifications to the building, near Ashley Furniture Homestore.

Natural Grocers plans on hiring about 16 people to start, then growing. They also will have nutrition coaches at the store.

Natural Grocers  won't sell foods with artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They will  also try to sell as many locally produced foods as possible.

The Midland store plans on opening this March.
