ODESSA -- A Permian student who was involved in a head-on collision earlier this week has been transferred to a Lubbock hospital.

Kelsey Foster was badly injured in the wreck Tuesday night on F.M. 554. Foster was driving north in her Ford Explorer when the vehicle veered into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a Chevy Silverado.

Both drivers who were in the crash were taken to Medical Center Hospital. Foster remained there in critical condition before she was transferred to Lubbock Thursday.
