MIDLAND -- Three Midland women are behind bars, accused of using drugs in front of a 3-year old child during a party.

Rheal Defer, 32, Jessica Corona, 34. and Christina Rangel, 30, were arrested early Sunday morning after police were called to their home on Tremont because of a noise complaint. When the officers went inside, they say they smelled marijuana. Police detained the three women and searched the home.

According to an arrest affidavit, police found white powder that tested positive for cocaine during a sweep of the home. Then, police found a young girl in the bedroom lying right next to more cocaine and marijuana.

Defer, Corona and Rangel are now charged with endangering a child and possession of controlled substance. They're being held on $25,000 bond.

Meanwhile, the girl has been turned over to her grandfather.
