ODESSA -- Power has been restored at the Water Treatment Plant in Odessa.

The Water Treatment Plant in Odessa had been dealing with a power outage early Thursday afternoon, causing problems for residents. As crews were working to fix the power outage, the city warned residents to turn on the faucets unless they absolutely need to. The city said that with the power out, water might not flow through the faucets. Even if it does, the pressure might be low.

The city also asked residents not to call the Utility Administration Office or the Water Treatment Plant as the crews worked to fix the power outage.
