ODESSA -- Medical experts say the worst of flu season is yet to come.

Last week, the city of Midland was offering free shots to residents. And Monday, Medical Center Hospital was focusing on the kids. Their Ronald McDonald Care Mobile was parked outside the Family Health Clinic on West Clements in Odessa, offering free shots to anyone between the ages of 4 and 18.

"You have to look at kids being healthy," Care Mobile's Dorothy Reyes told Big 2. "And if you go ahead and get their immunizations, it protects them from getting diseases at full blown severity."

If you didn't make it out Monday, Walgreens is still offering the flu shot. The cost is around $30, if it's not covered by your insurance.
