Dwayne Billings Found Guilty On All Counts

ODESSA -- A man who was on trial for a January 2007 kidnapping and sexual assault has been found guilty.
An Ector County jury gave a guilty verdict for all counts against Dwayne Dale Billings. Billings had been charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault for the January 2007 incident where a 9 year-old autistic girl was kidnapped and molested.
Both Billings and the victim testified in the 5-day trial. Billings admitted to the crimes while on the stand, but he also changed his story several times. He revealed that his father was also his grandfather and gave a detailed account of a history of sexual abuse he received while he was raised.
Billings will be sentenced Wednesday. He faces up to life in prison.
