MIDLAND -- Midland Police are searching for a man who they say ran away on foot when they tried to arrest him Tuesday.

Officers were trying to pull over 32-year-old Kevin Gordon for an outstanding traffic warrant, when Gordon took off running near the Sterling Springs Apartments. Officers set up a perimeter and brought in K-9 units, but they weren't able to find him. M.P.D. tells Big 2 the search is still continuing.

Police believe that Gotdon either lives in the Sterling Springs apartment complex or knows someone who does. They add that Gordon doesn't have criminal history.

Anyone with information on Gordon's whereabouts is asked to call Midland Police at 432-685-7108.
