Man Attacked And Robbed In Midland

MIDLAND -- Midland Police are searching for a man they say robbed someone in an alleyway Wednesday night.
   
    Police say the robbery took place in the 1300 block of Tyler. The 51-year-old victim then tried to get away before he was attacked by the suspect. That attack ended in an alleyway between East Estes and East Cowden.
     
    Police say the victim had cuts on his face and an injured shoulder when the found him in the parking lot of Garcia's Burritos on Cowden and Lamesa. He was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
   
    Police are searching for the suspect. They say he's a 5'9", heavy-set African-American who's around 30 years old. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and black pants.
   
    Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Midland Police at 432-685-7108.
