'The King's Speech' Leads Academy Award Nominations

Nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards were announced at 7:30 a.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills by Academy President Tom Sherak and Mo'Nique.

The British drama "The King's Speech" leads all nominees this year with 12 nominations.  The Coen brothers' remake of the classic Western "True Grit" racked up ten nominations while Christopher Nolan's sci-fi thriller "Inception" and the Facebook-origins movie "The Social Network" received eight nominations each.

The Academy Awards are set for February 27th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway.
