Midland's Black Pearl Expo is Less Than a Week Away

2011 will represent the First Black Pearl Expo in Midland. The Black Pearl Expo will be an annual celebration of Black American culture showcasing business development seminars, entertainment, shopping, and fun for the entire family.
The Black Expo plans to attract 2,000 attendees from throughout the
Permian Basin, showcasing more than 40 businesses.
The event is Saturday, February 12th. It's free and open to the public.
Following the Expo, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity hosts the Black & Gold Sweetheart Ball and Fashion Show from 7:00 to midnight. Tickets are $25.00 for singles, or $40.00 for a couple.
